Jake Caulfield joined Bristol Academy from London Irish at the beginning of the 2011/12 season. The 18 year-old prop, who joins the Club from London Irish, is regarded as one of the brightest front-row prospects in the country, having represented England at U16 and U17 levels.

Born in the West Country, Caulfield was registered in the EPDG programme at Bristol Rugby from the age of 14. Described as a ‘destructive running player with excellent handling skills’ Caulfield qualifies to play for both England and Ireland.
