Filton is a new age Academic Institute in the Bristol area running the RFU AASE Apprenticeship Scheme for aspiring professional players with Bristol Rugby .

Filton College recently won the prestigious Tynedale U18 Tournament, the St. Josephs festival, the British Colleges Cup and the Middlesex 7's

The college has fantastic purpose built sports facilities and professional rugby coaches.  Combined with high quality academic and vocational pathways, Filton delivers academically, whatever your

Bristol University is one of England’s most over subscribed further education institutes. Bristol University is famous for its Medicine, Law English and Classics courses. It has also won prestigious awards for its Science Departments and has one of England's largest Ethics centres.

In addition to providing unparalleled further Education, Bristol University has a comprehensive sporting programme. Former students include Kyran Bracken, Josh Lewsey, Alex King and many more who have played at Premiership and International level. Bristol University Rugby Club currently play in the BUSA Premiership which provides a superb competition for players in the over 18 category. 

UWE University of the West of England

Further Education and Rugby.

UWE provides another excellent opportunity for students to stay in the Bristol area with over 600 degree courses to choose from. UWE is particularly well known for its Law conversion, History and Teacher training courses. The Frenchay Campus has had a £200 million pound investment and boasts a new Centre for Sport and brand new Student Village.

UWE play Bristol University in an annual Varsity rugby game played at the Memorial Stadium. The University has excellent links to us at Bristol Rugby.
