Bristol U18s to play at Sandy Park

Bristol U18s face Exeter Chiefs U18s at Sandy Park on Saturday (3.30pm KO).

“This is a fantastic opportunity for the players to experience a Premiership stadium"

Mike Hall

Academy Manager Mike Hall’s side – who went down 29-43 to Harlequins in their opening game – will look to bounce back against the Aviva Premiership outfit in Devon.

Hall said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for the players to experience a Premiership stadium – it promises to get a great occasion and one we’re relishing.

“Exeter will present another stern challenge, they beat Bath 27-0 in their first game, so we will need to be at our best.

“Our attacking game versus Quins was impressive, we showed a real intent to attack from all over the pitch, played quickly and took bold risks.

“The more chaotic the game got, the better we looked. We scored five great tries and will play the same way again this time around. We’ve worked hard at our defence over the last couple of weeks, and we’ll be looking to implement that into our display on Saturday.”
