Players take cookery classes

Members of the Bristol Rugby Academy swapped their boots for the kitchen on Friday.

The players attended cookery classes at Nailsea Electrical’s 102 Cookery School – the official partner of the Fullbacks Restaurant.

Bristol-based 102 Cookery School is a purpose-built cookery school offering courses and classes run by some of the finest chefs in the West Country.

Academy Manager Mike Hall said: “It’s very important that our young players – as well as improving their rugby on the field – develop their life skills away from the training ground.

“We’re encouraging our Academy group to learn about nutrition and understand the importance of what they are eating.

“Bristol Rugby are grateful to our partners, 102 Cookery School, for accommodating us.”
