Eadie & Braley take charge of Gloucester One side

Bristol Academy duo Callum Braley and Mitch Eadie have been named as the new coaching team for Ashley Down Old Boys.

Back-rower Eadie will take charge of the forwards, while scrum half Braley will oversee the backs ahead of the new Gloucester One campaign.

Ashley Down chairman Pete Gervais said: "We had a fantastic campaign last season, winning promotion back into Gloucester One at our first attempt, as well as reaching a cup final.

"Obviously the playing standard goes up the higher you go, and that means, as a club, we need to adapt accordingly.

"Mitch and Callum, as full-time professional rugby players, have an insight into all the latest training techniques, conditioning drills and defensive and attacking strategies, and we're hoping to benefit from their knowledge of the modern game."

The Lockleaze-based club train every Tuesday and Thursday (6.45 - 8.30pm) and all new players are welcome.
