Ryan Barrow Receives Trust Bursary

EPDG hooker awarded with funding

Ryan Barrow received the Carol Humphreys Memorial Bursary Fund from BRIS Trust Chairman Andrew Humphreys last Friday.

The 16 year-old front rower - who represents Nailsea and Backwell - was presented with a cheque for £1,000 at half-time of the B&I Cup semi-final victory over Rotherham Titans.

The Carol Humphreys Memorial Bursary is rewarded to individuals in the Academy system who show great promise, with the intention that the funds will aid the player's development.

The last two recipients - Nick Carpenter and Lucas Slowik - have both represented the first team.
