Ryan Edwards Puts Pen To Paper
Academy winger agrees new deal
Ryan Edwards has put pen to paper on a new two-year deal at Bristol Rugby.
“It’s an honour to represent Bristol every time I’m selected"
The Academy winger has made thirty-two appearances for the Club since bursting onto the scene during the 2012/13 campaign, scoring a total of eleven tries so far.
A reliable performer, Edwards’ consistency and tireless work-rate makes the 23 year-old an integral member of the first team squad.
“Ryan shows a high level of dedication and professionalism in everything he does – he makes a positive contribution every time he plays,” Director of Rugby Andy Robinson told bristolrugby.co.uk.
“He is developing well and that’s a testament to Ryan’s ability and desire to improve his level of performance.
“We’re delighted to commit him for a further two years and he’ll play a significant role in our plans as the Club move forward.”
Edwards added: “It’s an honour to represent Bristol every time I’m selected and I always try to give my best for the team.
“It was an easy decision to commit my future, because the ambition and drive make it an exciting time to be at Bristol.
“My focus is on contributing to the first team squad – on and off the field – in a really important period coming up for the Club.”
