Academy Duo Selected For England U18s
Callum Braley and Steve Uren included in 26-man touring squad
Two members of the Bristol Rugby Academy have been selected for the England U18 tour to South Africa this summer.
Steve Uren and Callum Braley are included in the 26-man squad, while EPDG Gold member Nick Carpenter will also travel.
England will play Wales (August 10), France (August 14) and hosts South Africa (August 18) during the tour.
Scrum half Braley, who signed a professional Academy contract ahead of the 2012/13 campaign, scored twice for England against France and Scotland this year.
Flanker Steve Uren - the 2011/12 BRIS Trust Young Player of the season - entered the record books as the youngest player to represent the Club in the league when he came on as a late replacement against Moseley at the Memorial Stadium.
Centre Carpenter, who made his competitive debut against the Scots in February, scored a maiden try against Georgia during England’s successful FIRA/AER Championship campaign.
