AcademyMarco Mama joins Bristol Academy
Marco Mama is announced as the latest signing for the Bristol Rugby Academy.
Marco was previously registered with Bristol as part of the Elite Player Development Group and made a number of appearances for the Bristol first team last season.
He now joins the Club as part of the new venture between Bristol and the University of the West of England.
Academy Manager Liam Middleton commented on the recent signing,
“ I’m pleased to include Marco in the Bristol Academy squad this season. We showed faith in him last season by selecting him for 4 Bristol 1st team games and he repaid that with solid performances, whilst still at school at Millfield. Marco joins fellow Academy players, Mike Wilcox and Liam Wilkinson on the UWE/Bristol Rugby Scholarship Scheme and I’m looking forward to watching his development within the academy over the next few years.”
