Barry's a massive presence in the centre of the front row. Formerly a British Lion who toured South Africa, he intends to add to his current haul of 15 Welsh caps. Born in Carmarthen, Barry went to school in Llandovery. He got into the Welsh youth team when he was 16 and he holds the record for the age group with a total of 10 caps. Barry played for Neath and Richmond before coming to Bristol before the start of last season. He enjoys playing golf and cricket, and as the supporters found in a friendly match he's a formidable batsman.
